4 PM UPDATE

June 21, 4 p.m. – A heavy rain threat and flash flooding potential continues through tonight as a result of the impacts from Tropical Storm Cindy. Residents living along the riverine system should pay special attention as additional bands of heavy rain combined with the four to eight inches that have already fallen will lead to a continued increasing threat for flash flooding and river flooding. Multiple weather hazards are in effect as follows:
  • Tornado watch in effect until 7 p.m.
  • Flash flood warning in effect until 6 p.m.
  • Flood warning until June 22, 12:30 p.m – moderate flooding is forecast for Big Coldwater Creek in Milton.
  • Flash flood watch until June 23, 1 a.m.
  • High surf advisory/high risk of rip currents through Thursday(beaches closed)
  • Coastal flood advisory through Thursday
