Burglary Suspected Arrested

 

On 9-14-15, The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 0600 in the morning in reference to a suspicious individual on Gulf Blvd in Navarre Beach. The complainant stated there was a male which appeared to be in the process of breaking into a car. Deputies arrived shortly afterwards.

 

When Deputies located the suspect, he fled the area. After a foot chase, the suspect was located where he was  actively attemptingto break into a condo but was subsequently apprehended. The suspect attempted to use a fictitious name and had also changed his appearance since we last encountered him.

 

The suspect was identified as Jeremy Laroy Woolard. Woolard currently has 7 warrants out of Santa Rosa County for burglary and theft charges. Those warrants are mostly for vehicle burglaries as well as breaking into the New Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Milton.

 

Property was recovered at the scene. Wollard was arrested and taken to the Santa Rosa County Jail.
