A new underwater robot will allow anyone to be able to explore the ocean floor. This is controlled remotely by your computer. A built in video camera streams in 1080p so you can see what the ROV sees.
This is sold as a kit that you build. This makes this a great project for a classroom.
This was designed in Silicon Valley and is open source with a large forum of young explorers adding ideas and suggestions to continually improve the design and software.
