Levitacus Cymande Riggins

An Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy who made a traffic stop after spotting a driver not wearing his seat belt quickly noticed the odor of marijuana emanating from the truck.

That odor sparked a search that led to a backpack containing jeweler’s bags containing 52 grams of cocaine.

The backpack was on the floorboard next to 44-year old passenger, Levitacus Cymande Riggins of Tampa.

Riggins is now charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrest took place around 11:30 a.m. August 3rd following a traffic stop on Denton Boulevard.
