The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is ramping up efforts to crackdown on drunk and impaired drivers this holiday season. The time period from around Christmas to New Year’s is one of the highest rates of impaired driving fatalities according to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration. Deputies will be working to reduce DUI related crashes. We also encourages everyone to drive carefully, wear your seat belts, and use a designated driver.
