Kevin Riley was recently selected as the State 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator of the Year for 2017. Riley received a letter from Steve McCoy, Florida Department of Health EMS Section Administrator, that stated, “My staff and I know how deserving you are of this recognition that pays tribute to Florida’s real life heroes. The Annual Excellence in EMS Awards recognize the outstanding efforts of men and women who serve their communities through injury prevention and other EMS education activities, as well as saving lives on the front lines of Florida’s health care system.” Riley will recognized at the statewide EMS awards ceremony held in conjunction with the 43rd Annual Clinical Conference on Emergency Medical Services (ClinCon).
