Three Fatalities Last Night

There was three fatalities involving two separate accidents. Both vehicles drove off the road and hit cement early this morning.

In the first accident both the driver and passenger were from Milton. According to FHP report the car which was a 1998 Ford Expedition was driving on Interstate 10 heading east of the 19 mile marker when the right side tires traveled off the pavement and on to the grass shoulder. The driver Jaedesilyn Yvette McCary age 32 over-corrected and drove across the eastbound travel lanes before colliding with the temporary concrete barrier wall and overturned. The passenger was Brian Jerome Kennedy age 34. Both the driver and passenger were pronounced dead at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. Alcohol was not a factor in this accident. This happened at 3:15 am.

In a separate accident according to a FHP report Richard Allen Terry age 28 from Niceville was driving a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero westbound on State road 20 in the inside lane when the vehicle he was driving struck the concrete barrier at the start of Rocky Bayou Bridge and overturned. This happened at 3:45 am. Alcohol was not a factor in this accident. The driver was pronounced dead.

The only common factor in the three fatalities are all three people mentioned above chose not to wear a seat belt. Why? Please have a discussion with your children who drive and share this article with family and friends.
