Carjacking Suspect Arrested
On 3/27/16 at approximately 11:00 pm, Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office Dispatched received a 911 call in reference to a carjacking incident. The victim advised he was held at knifepoint and his vehicle had been stolen.
The suspect vehicle was located by Deputies near North Airport Road in Milton. Deputies initiated a traffic stop but the suspect refused to comply. Thesuspect drove his vehicle at a Deputy causing the Deputy to crash into a tree. The suspect bailed from the vehicle a short time later and was apprehended after a foot pursuit.
The suspect was identified as Godfrey Fagot, 45 years of age from Milton Florida.
Fagot is facing multiple Felony charges to include:
• Flee, Elude Law Enforcement
• Agg Assault with Deadly Weapon
• Battery
• Assault on a LEO
• Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle
• Robbery-Carjacking
Fagot is being held on $184,500 bond at the Santa Rosa County Jail.
