The Navarre bridge is closed to non-residents. Gulf Blvd is flooded in sections but the water is sloely receding. The pier has some damage that has to be inspected then repaired before it can re-open. Home owners are just getting some people out to fix or give estimates that have to be submitted to insurance company’s.
Tom Thumb has no power and no gas. No one is open for business and it will take a few days to a week or more depending on how much damage each place received.
SRC schools are closed Thursday and Friday. Monday all schools will be open.
The last part is important. Our water has a really bad smell so I would boil your water and not drink or cook with it until it has been checked out by the water company.
Sally was not as bad as Ivan. Recovery should take weeks instead of years.
