Erica Grancagnolo of the Santa Rosa County Grants and Special Programs Department was recently selected as the county’s employee of the quarter. Erica manages a variety of challenging responsibilities while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. She has taken on complex projects, such as the navigating the myriad of funding sources related to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and RESTORE Act. Erica is able effectively process a large quantity of information and think critically regarding strategic approaches to funding county projects. She shows patience and determination in what can often be an extensive and frustrating process.
“Erica demonstrates a high level of professionalism in day to day activities as well as in formal presentations and takes great care to ensure that the message is most effectively communicated,” said Sheila Fitzgerald, director of Grants and Special Programs. “Whether in a team or on her own, Erica consistently performs at a high level, no matter the circumstance.”
